Bacchus at 4 South Chestnut Street, New Paltz, New York.

Bacchus has been one of my favorite restaurants for probably at least the last 12 years. They change things pretty often, which can be nice, but they have been changing so frequently that the last few times I have been there I received inconsitant experiences. This last time, I tried their anniversary beer collection which wasn't overly impressive- but it takes time to nail craft beer. So I have high hopes for future brews. Our food took a long time, and was overcooked on our last visit, but I understand these things happen. Visit on a slow night. Chill. Enjoy the vibes, and the food and all the AMAZING craft beer selections. Just don't come when it's super busy ... Servers are going to be behind, and so will the kitchen.
